Technical Details

Type: Water-based matt emulsion paint
Binder: Acrylic copolymer
Recommended use: Interior surfaces (cement plaster, concrete, blockwork, gypsum board, etc.)
Color: White and other shades as per Oscar color card
Specific gravity: 1.60 ± 0.02
Volume solids: 42 ± 2%
Wet film thickness: 71–95 microns per coat
Dry film thickness: 30–40 microns per coat
Coverage: 10.5–14.0 m²/L per coat (depends on film thickness and surface type)
Surface dry time: 1 hour at 30°C
Hard dry time: 24 hours at 30°C
Recoating interval: 2–3 hours
Thinner/Cleaner: Water
VOC: 40 g/L
Shelf life: 24 months in the original sealed container, stored cool and dry
Non-flammable

Application Method

Surface Preparation

The surface must be clean, dry, non-chalky, and free from dust or loose material.
Any defects such as cracks or pinholes should be repaired before painting.
Sanding is recommended to remove any loose or non-adherent particles.

Recommended Painting System (New Surfaces)

Primer: 1 coat of Oscar Beauty Sealer 5292
Putty: 2 coats of Oscar Beauty Putty 5510 or Oscarnite Putty 090
Topcoat: 2 coats of Oscar Rich Beauty Matt 5180

Repainting System (Previously Painted Surfaces)

Putty: 2 coats of Oscar Beauty Putty 5510 or Oscarnite Putty 090
Topcoat: 2 coats of Oscar Rich Beauty Matt 5180

4. Application Procedure

Mixing: Stir the product well before use.
Application tools: Brush, roller, or airless spray.
- Brush/Roller: Suitable for small to medium surfaces.
- Airless spray: Use nozzle size 0.021"–0.027", spray angle 65°–80°, pressure 140–190 kg/cm² (2100 psi).
Thinning: Can be thinned with a small amount of water if necessary.
Optimal application conditions: Do not apply below 10°C or when humidity exceeds 85%.
Number of coats: It is recommended to apply several thin coats rather than one thick coat to avoid cracking.
